RecordScreen is a desktop application. Recordings you make are saved directly to your own computer and are never uploaded to us or any third party.

What we collect

When you activate a license, the app sends your license key and a device identifier to our licensing provider (Freemius) to verify the key and enforce a one-device limit. We do not collect the contents of your recordings, and the app does not include analytics or telemetry.

Payment information

Purchases are processed by Freemius. We never see or store your card details — refer to Freemius's privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
